KASAULI & SHIMLA VISIT

Brahma Sarovar, KURUKHSETRA

Our tour was from February 24th to March 4th, 2010.First we went to Kasauli, stayed there for a few days. Then visited Shimla. We spent a few hours at Surya Kund and then at Brahma Sarovar in Kurukshetra while returning to Delhi from Kasauli. On way to Kasauli, we stayed at Rontu's home and while returning stayed with Rumu and Fuldi also at Delhi. It was a very wonderful and comfortable journey flying to & fro from Kolkata to Delhi and then all other journeys by an airconditioned Honda City car. Some of the views captured in my camera are here for you to see. There is one temple called Jakhu Temple. Sri Hanuman tepped on this hill to get direction of Drona Parbat from one Yaksha so the name is Jakhu.
There is one temple of Hanuman at Kasauli too which is called Man-ki-Point. The temple is on top of a hill and I climbed nearly 500 steps with rest in between - it was really tough to reach the top. But somehow I could do it as the Driver of our car Sukhvinder encouraged me a lot all the way. Since this temple is under Indian Air Force, no photos were allowed. So I cannot show how great that height is.
